GaAs MESFET:

Gallium Arsenide Metal-Semiconductor-Field-Effect-Transistor ("FET"): A transistor, built with gallium arsenide semiconductor material, with a conducting channel positioned between a source and drain-contact region.

 

GaAsFET:

Gallium arsenide field-effect transistor ("FET")

 

GaAsP:

Gallium Arsenide Phosphide (or, Gallium Arsenic Phosphide): A semiconductor material used for optoelectronics, including LEDs and photodiodes

 

G-Code:

It’s a programming language that controls CNC machine tools, always begins with the letter G, and generally is a G-Code telling the machine tool what type of action to perform, such as: rapid move, controlled feed move in a straight line or arc, etc.

 

Glitch:

General term used to describe an undesirable, momentary pulse or unexpected input or output.

 

Gray Code:

Another binary code, just like BCD code ("Binary Coded Decimal"), its play a big role in automation, since it is used for encoding rotating shafts position. This code is similar to binary code, it has the same possible combinations but it is arranged in a different order.
